This project saw the Urry & Burgess Construction team deliver a full structural rebuild of a 1900s villa, retaining only the original bay window façade to preserve a connection to its heritage.

The works commenced with a complete re-pile of the retained bay window bedroom and entrance and new concrete slab throughout, providing a solid platform for the rebuild. From there, the team constructed an entirely new dwelling, including a fully engineered roof replacement with detailed attention to weather tightness and long-term performance.
A coordinated, site-led team approach across all trades ensured efficient sequencing and a consistently elevated level of workmanship. The build incorporates new structural framing, a high-performance building envelope and double-glazed aluminium joinery throughout.

Internally, the layout was reconfigured to support modern living, with open plan spaces achieved through engineered structural solutions. A central kitchen anchors the home, supported by three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dedicated study, all delivered with strong attention to detail.
The introduction of multiple skylights required careful integration within the new roof structure, while full ducted air conditioning was seamlessly incorporated to meet modern comfort standards.
